Tar Heels Place Five On Ping! Preseason All-America Team

North Carolina, ranked No. 1 in the Ping!Baseball preseason rankings, has placed five players on the website’s preseason All-America squad, which was released earlier this week. First baseman Dustin Ackley, second baseman Kyle Seager and right-handers Matt Harvey and Alex White were all first-team picks, while left-handed reliever Brian Moran claimed a spot on the third team.

Callahan Named To NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-America Squad

North Carolina senior midfielder Michael Callahan capped his final season with yet another honor earlier this month – a spot on the NSCAA/adidas Men’s Collegiate Scholar All-America Team. The Cary native owns a 3.37 grade point average in economics and was a four-year starter in the UNC midfield.
